Basketball is an Agile and Commanding Game

Basketball is well player in schools and colleges

The game of basketball which was originally played with a soccer ball, is one of the world’s most popular sports and commands a great deal of TV viewership. In basketball, there are rules and techniques given to ball-handling which include shooting, passing, dribbling, and rebounding. Teams maintain player positions with tall members taking the center forward. Other team members will then maintain the small forward and are usually the more agile players. Those who are highly skilled with handling the ball usually direct the team and help enforce the game plan. Known as the point guard, these players will be the ones to execute the offensive and defensive plays.

In the United States, the National Basketball Association (NBA) remains one of the most professional basketball leagues in the world. It was originally founded on June 6, 1946 in New York as the Basketball Association of America. Today, the NBA maintains teams in the United States and Canada, and is known to have the world’s best paid sportsmen.

Basketball is also established at the high school and college level as well. Virtually every college and high school today in the United States maintains a basketball team that participates in high school and varsity competition. The game of basketball is also well maintained at
social levels where groups and associations from all backgrounds eg. prisons and community organizations, maintain their own command of the game to foster relationships between individuals. The intention is more of enabling interaction between members than following the rules of the game.
