Add Buddha Statues to Evoke Peace and Tranquility

Many people add Buddha statues to evoke peace and to ward off any form of unrest in the house. As a young man, Buddha became aware of the unhappiness and pain around him. He rebelled at the richness and comfort that life offered him, placing upon himself the great task of liberating his soul to kindly ways that he felt would allow one to achieve oneness with nature. In time, Buddha would become the "Enlightened One" or 'Awakened One' -  someone who has awakened from the sleep of ignorance and who would rationalize life as it really is.

He founded the Buddhist religion and brought about the principles of entering the path to liberation and enlightenment. Buddha taught the first Wheel of Dharma which included the Sutra of the Four Noble Truths. The second and third Wheels of Dharma which gave birth to the Mahayana included the Perfection of Wisdom Sutras and the Sutra Discriminating the Intention. In the Mahayana teaching, Buddha would explain the means of attaining full enlightenment.

Our Buddha statues are suitable for the home or garden. They represent the benevolence and kindness exemplified by the great teacher Siddharta Gautama Buddha, the kind Indian prince born to Queen Mayadevi and King Shudodhana who would later be known as Shakyamuni Buddha.
